Paranormal Romance & Movies

The upcoming Oscars got me to thinking about Paranormal Romance and movies.

Underworld & Twilight were, to me, paranormal romance movies.

There are so many great PR books which would make great movies.

Unfortunately there aren't that many PR movies & there's definitely a market.

Which paranormal romance book would you love to see made into a movie?

And is there a paranormal movie out that you love?

Any of the Shelly Laurenston/G.A. Aiken books, any dragon shifter book, Angela Knight's Mageverse books, and the special effects for Alyssa Day's Warriors of Poseidon would be awesome if they could pull them off.
I'd be willing to pay money to see movies of any of those.

I've heard rumors they want to make an Anita Blake movie which would be fun to watch.

They are making an Anita movie, LK Hamilton announced it. I would also like to Merry done on HBO or Showtime where they could really do it up. I would also like to see Patricia Brigg's books done into a movie and Feehan's Game books.

Outside of Paranormal, I'd love to see Suzanne Brockman's Troubleshooters...

Do you know who the actor's are going to be? More importantly, who's going to play Jean Claude??

No, but the reason LKH finally sold the rights was because they gave her creative control of certain things, like casting so Anita isn't going to suddenly become a blonde. She's blogged about it on her blog.

I'd love to see Sherrilyn Kenyon or Marjorie Liu's books in a movie

Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed would make fantastic Hollywood blockbusters. Oh boy, to see those vamps in the flesh *sigh* Also Michelle Rowen's Sarah Dearly would make such a cute paranormal romance. I could go on forever hehe there are so many para rom books that would lend themselves well to movies or TV series. Here's hoping we get a little more paranormal action on the big and small screen soon :)
