Werewolf or Vampire?

It seems that werewolves and vampires are still the biggest genres for paranormal romance. I know I love books about them. There is just something about a big gorgeous hunk of a man who can go wolf when the urge takes him, or one whose bite can bring even greater pleasure.

My two werewolf series at Liquid Silver Books have done well for me, and I must admit I love writing them. I have my Wulf’s Den series and the new spin off series, Roxie’s Protectors. All of them have the same werewolf theme with a little bit of humor thrown in. I recently had the first book of a new werewolf series published at Noble Romance, Wolves of East Anglia-Mate for a King. These wolves are a little different from my other series, but I had just as much fun writing about them.

I also have the first book in my first vampire series, Ra’s Chosen-Soul Hunger, coming out at the end of May at Ellora’s Cave. With this series I combined my love for vampires and Egyptian mythology. I finished the edits for the second book of this series the other day. I have to admit that I fell in love with reading vampire romances first before werewolf romances.

You can read excerpts for my wolves and vampires on my website HERE.

So out of these two genres, which one do you love the best? Or are you like me and love both of them?

Welcome to PR Marisa. Beautiful covers by the way.

Werewolf or Vampire?

Decisions, decisions...I fell in love with vampires first but recently have been reading a few shifter books. But if forced to make a choice I'd chose vampire. :)

Ooh! I hate the hard questions. Vamps are my fav, but mix them up with something--I'm done *grins*

Welcome to PR, Marisa.

I have to say that since my Westervelt Wolves have been so good to me and so inspiring I have to say that I prefer wolves, although I am writing a Vampire story right now and really enjoying that....

It's so hard to pick. LOL

Thanks Marisa for being here today!

Hey Marisa, you know I love them both.

There is a teeny tiny line of separation, but I will always love vampires that little bit more. ;)

At least you aren't making me choose one or the other. I love them both. Paranormal books are the primary books i read and I love EC.

I love the idea of vampire and Egyptian mythology combined. both of those topics are interesting to me. I love the cover the tat is awesome!!

I figured you would love the wolves, Rebecca :).

And yes, Hailey, I know you love them both :), especially your vamps.

Nope, I would never make someone choose one over the other since I can't do it LOL. I'm glad you love the cover, Heather. I've drooled, I mean stared, at it many times :).

Shifters of any kind -- wolves, big cats, dragons -- I like the combination of human/animal aspects. Allows for all kinds of character development and humor.

Hi Moni :). I love big cats as well.

I do enjoy reading about both, but have to admit I prefer shifters. Dragons, bears, big cats and wolves, in that order.

I love both but if I absolutely have to choose, it's the Werewolf. :)
