Don’t you just love this time of year? The summer heat has waned, leaves are turning color; you feel that slight nip in the air that says it’ll be Christmas soon… It’s always amazing to me to watch the seasons change. And Halloween also has a special place in my heart. It’s a perfect blend of old and new – observance of an ancient feast day (or night), celebrated in a new way.
Young or old, superstitious or not, you can’t deny that the air of tradition and mystery adds at least a little element of the supernatural to Halloween. And speaking of Supernatural, I thought I’d share something to warm us all up, even if we might not need it ;)
Isn’t it just yummy? If that doesn’t prove reading is sexy, I don’t know what will. Trick or treat….. Man candy. Can’t find fault with it. You can indulge all you like and never get a sugar high ;)
What’s your favorite type of candy? Post your answer as a comment. One comment will be chosen to win a $5 Amazon gift card.
Hope your Halloween is out of this world!
Bio:
Alianne is an avid lover of stories of all kinds. Having grown up with fairy tales in a place where it almost seemed they were real, it was no surprise when she began making up her own stories. She loves books, music, hiking, and archery, and won't shy away from travel and zip lining. Alianne graduated with a business degree and when she's not off in the land of fantasy, she lives in California . For more information and updates go to http://aliannedonnelly.blogspot.com/

Blurb:
How far does moral obligation stretch? When Dara called in a murder she witnessed, she knew she'd end up taking the fall. It's not as if she could say she only saw it in her mind. But life in prison can't be that bad, can it? Turns out it's far worse.

Love your "eye" candy ....
My favorite candy is pretty much anything chocolate and it's even better if it has nuts! I love things like Almond Joy, 100,000 Bar, or even a plain Hershey Bar:)

During Halloween my favorite candy is the candy corn. I love the little things, but I do not want them except at Halloween. You reckon that is something in my head?

I love all kinds of candy but was introduced to a favorite while I was in college. It is called a Violet Crumble and is hardened sugar foam bar encased in chocolate.

I had a play-nurses kit when I was a kid and I used Rockets to fill the pill bottles and I still love them
