I guess the simplest description is hope.
Hope that things will get better, that my goals will be achieved, that there's something around the corner I can't see that's going to change everything.
But to have hope, you have to have support from friends and family—which I have in spades—and an ability to find joy in the little (sometimes miniscule) things. :)
Determination. Nothing in life is easy, but with enough drive, anything can be accomplished.
