What inspires you? For me, it can be anything, but my biggest inspiration comes from life—things that I’ve seen or experienced. In my latest WIP, which I just wrapped up last night, it’s about the WWII big band, brass and sass which, I’ve brought forward into 2012. In this story, my challenge was to make a trumpet player sexy. In order to do that, I had to research songs with trumpet solos, songs that at one time made women swoon.
Where did my inspiration come from? The Army color guard.

I Won't See you tonight - has a line at minute 6:30 in the song that inspired Atreayu's story. It's partially written. He was a prince who to save his father changed into a dark prince. Long convoluted story. But it reminds me of how do you tell your family and the ones you love not to worry. I was looking for raw emotion. below are the pasted lyrics The last line and the way M Shadows belts it out was the depth ofemotion I'd been missing.:P It's my third favorite song my them.
