I read them once and then tell myself another glowing review will bury the bad one. Often times, the reviewer/reader is in a bad place or mood. For example, one reviewer said this about one of my time-travel romances: <br /><br />"The hero and heroine need to time-travel back to the future and sleep on rumpled pillows and eat top-ramen." <br /><br />I sensed this person was having a tough time in life and my story struck a nerve. Oh, well... :)Mary Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11999861032120466782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2015064410387223894.post-39317650840447577672021-01-11T09:37:55.425-05:002021-01-11T09:37:55.425-05:00We are such perverse people. An honest 3 star that gives reasons for the less than 4 or 5 I can learn from but those 2 and 3 stars that cite ridiculous things like "I don't like heroes with black hair" or "I'm tired of reading about . . ." are so aggravating. But that said, at least they commented on your book! Nothing is worse than review crickets chirping after a new release.Nancy Gideonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07493107610530282642noreply@blogger.com
