A couple months back I posted a picture of my daughter-in-law as she watched my son step off a bus after months of deployment in Afghanistan. The look on her face spoke volumes, and inspired me to catch that raw emotion in a story.

I think I found the story that will do it. Recently I was asked if I would write a science fiction romance to help launch a series with Decadent Publishing. This story is the story, I can feel it in my gut. Have you ever written something that grabbed hold of you and didn't let go? It made you cry, it made you laugh, it made you say, wow, where did that come from?
This is that story.
