Here comes the bride! All furry with slime!
Wait, what?
I’d like to introduce a new series where you never know what
creature lurks under the veil. Monster Brides is a multiauthor series, coming
this fall. Each month two M/F romances will be released with a monstrous twist.
One book will have a monster groom while the other will have a paranormal creature
in the big, white dress. Will the wedding occur as the happily ever after or as the start of an adventure? The books are as unique as the authors who write
them. Variations don’t stop at the type of monster, but also heat level, plot
tropes, setting, and book mood. Where else will you find an erotic comedy next
to a dystopian space colonization piece?
To help you navigate the twists and turns of this series,
the monster brides’ authors have put together a free sneak peek book. Experience some of
the romantic scenes that will make you say ‘awe,’ clutch your eReader to your
chest, and make your back teeth ache with sweetness. Who knows, maybe you will daydream
of walking down the aisle. Will you wear a furry dress to marry a Yeti? A mile
of flowing lace as you approach a Fae King? Or perhaps a suit of leaves as you
gaze at your MothLady walking toward you?
Whatever your monstrous preference—kraken tentacles or fiery
phoenix wings—the series has a book groomsman or bride for you here.
Releasing in September, our first bride is a ghost. Haunted
Hearts by S.C Principale is a continuation of her Pine Ridge Series (which
starts with The Minotaur’s Valentine.) Immerse yourself in the paranormal town
of Pine Ridge where the paranormal creatures hide in plain view and enjoy a
‘regular joe’ existence. This grumpy-sunshine romance is between a millionaire
who chooses a haunted house as his place of hermitage and the lonely ghost who
wishes for a friend. Can they coexist in the house when they are separated by
death? Find out in Haunted Hearts
here.
Also releasing in September 2023 is Ripples for Skies by
Teshelle Combs. This forbidden love story takes us to the Griffin Realm and the
houses of warlords. A spy falls for a Griffin General in a warring faction but
can they be together? An arranged marriage, a Queen thirsty for secrets, and a
servant carrying the weight of an empire pull the lovers in opposite directions
in this heart-twisting tale. Grab your tissues before you preorder Ripples for Skies
here.
Just in time to get spooky for Halloween, October 15
th
brings two more monstrous weddings. Our bride grew up as a human but is forced
to live as a mermaid for six weeks in As the Tide Turns by Grace Mirchandani.
Marisol finds that leaving the human world behind is not so bad…when a dark
merman catches her eye and twists all she thought she knew about herself. This
book heats the seafloor…but what will happen in six weeks when Marisol must
return to land? Preorder your copy of As the Tide Turns
here.
If you guessed that my Monster Brides book would have fuzzy,
snow monster vibes, you are correct. However, Betrothed to the Yeti is not another
fluffy Chuchunya romance. Jaya is a beggar in the failed space colony of Alpha
on Saturn’s icy Enceladus moon. Her last chance of survival is to enter the
marriage lottery with her two older sisters. Not even offering her alien goat,
Ku Huang, as BOGO can sweeten Jaya’s proposal enough for human suitors. She
picked to be a rich brothel owner’s sacrifice to the alien Yeti the colony
worships. Will Jaya’s life in the temple be a swift death as a Yeti’s dinner or
will she create a happily ever after despite her traumatic childhood? Find out
in the dystopian Beauty & the Beast-retelling, Betrothed to the Yeti
here.
I feel like an infomercial host when I say, “But wait
there’s more.” November’s romances are a magical Fae wedding (
Claiming the Fae Crown by
Lilliana Rose) and a human bride’s marriage to a snake-dragon monster (
The Vishap’s Claim by Roslyn
St Clair.)
In The Vishap’s Claim, Van is awoken
after two thousand years on ice to find the Rings of Sin he guarded have been
stolen. Lucky for him, the Ring of Lust is currently for sale in New York City
but so is Luce, an Armenian girl with opinionated parents. Sparks fly as this
pair head toward with aisle…much to her parent’s dismay. Even with fate pushing
them together and gods trying to keep them apart, can a love between them
succeed?
As for December, you will have to see what Santa drops under
the tree. Could the next paranormal marriage be your favorite read?
Don’t forget your sneak peek book
here and
collect them all!
