Instead of my regular Saturday post, I've asked erotic romance writer, Barbara Elsborg, to drop by. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a huggggeeeeee fan. So you can imagine how excited I am to introduce this extraordinary and very funny lady and her latest release, The Small Print.
Please help me give her a big welcome.
At the bottom of contracts, those squint-worthy clauses that make many a contract signer wish they had a magnifying glass, are the premise behind Barbara Elsborg's new novel, The Small Print. Released with Ellora's Cave on Friday October 1st. The Small Print Promises to deliver lots of the sexy humor that Ms. Elsborg is known for. I chatted briefly with this busy lady, earlier this week, about her new release. This is what she had to say.
When people ask me who's in 'The Small Print' - I say there's a vampire, a werewolf and a... something else. I can't say what the something else is - or it gives the game away. The whole essence of the story is that Matty doesn't know what she is and nor does anyone else for quite a while. The idea for the story was based on what a vampire would do if he moved into a house and found someone living in the attic. What if the girl in the attic had a right to be there but had no idea the new owner was a vampire? I coupled that with a new twist on the vampire legend and not content with two main protagonists I decided to add a third, a wolfish wolf called Catch. Add a good dollop of humor into the mix, stir well and I hope you enjoy the result.
If you'd like a chance to win a copy of 'The Small Print' - leave a comment on this blog or mine - http://www.barbaraelsborg.blogspot.com/ and I'll choose a winner at random.
Thanks for stopping by, Barbara. Can't wait to find out what Matty is. :)

Thanks, Dawn!! Might be a lesson for all of us to read the small print!
Oh my gosh, this sounds so good! I have to go shopping.
*waving* at Barbara--nice to see you here.
This does sound good and to be recommended by DL is even better. I think our reading tastes are similar.
Hi, Joann, "waves back". Nice to be here.
Thanks, Annie. Dawn's read all mine and I've read all hers!! LOL More or less.
I was lucky to get an "advance preview" of the first few chapters of THE SMALL PRINT and I can't wait to read the rest! This promises to be yet another fantastic tale by Barbara with amazing, compelling, funny, sexy characters.
Congrats on the release, Barbara.
(No need to enter me in the drawing. I've already got it!)
I would love to be entered. Sounds like a very interesting read.

LOL, oh yeah, I think we do, Annie.
I love Barbara's work. My favorite by far is Strangers, followed closely by Power of Love.
Strangers made me cry--the good kind. :)
Warning: Read it with chocolate handy. It's that kind of book!
This sounds like a very good read. I'm someone who never reads the small print like you should. Please enter me in the contest.
