In the mood for a Halloweeny Movie?

Fall makes me crave movies I've seen a hundred time but love because their spooky and full of Halloween-y goodness. Just as a side note, I'm not big on horror flicks. Here are a few of my favs:

The Corpse Bride. Let's face it. Tim Burton rocks when it comes to the odd and weird. With the exception of 1 or 2 films, he's hands down my go-to guy for creepy. I watch The Corpse Bride every year and I'm desperately wanting to go to a party dressed like a deceased bride lol

Bedazzled. Yes, okay, this isn't a Halloween movie but it does pertain to the devil and all her wily ways much to the frustration of the humans involved. Elizabeth Hurley's outfit changes alone are worth watching this flick and who doesn't love Brendan Frazer?

Next up is Sleepy Hollow. Full of all the spooky goodness for Halloween and oh look. It's got Johnny Depp in it, too. Are you seeing a theme? lol I love this movie for a couple of reasons. It's a historical story and I love seeing the dresses. I also like how they took the Legend of Sleepy Hollow and bent the rules a little bit. Very interesting to my writerly mind.

And last on my must watch list is Hocus Pocus. Who can resist 3 wacky, clumsy and desperate for youth witch sisters not to mention a snarky black cat? This has been a hit since it came out and I can't imagine a Halloween season without it!

Oh crud, but then there's Practical Magic. Love that one too! Okay, I'd better stop while I'm ahead LOL Do you have a favorite spooky movie you must watch every year?

Sleepy Hollow is the best. I hated the Corpse Bride--Nightmare Before Christmas is better. Or Coraline, better still.

My favorite Halloween movie is that episode of Charlie Brown with the Great Pumpkin Patch King, lol. Dunno why, but I've been watching it every year since I was a kid.

Did someone mention Sleepy Hollow???

Mad, wild, cackling laughter.

(When my novella was first released, it was sandwiched in between Johnny Depp and Johnny Depp. LOVED that!)
