Follow Me Into the Woods My Dear: A Paranormal Valentine Poem

Follow me into the woods my dear 

the leaves are green with fragrance fair

Follow my steps each footfall  clear

the cloven shapes, makes one to stare.

Follow my shadow when sun is hidden

let milky moonlight become your guide

And as for Faeries who come unbidden

their promised love will not abide.

Follow me under the bowing Willow

the earth beneath your form is humming

I've made for you a downy pillow

so drowse my dear, our storm is coming.

While Valentine's Day is past, it's never too late for passion when it grabs the imagination and squeezes out a sigh!
